PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Eagles football is back on Sunday as the Birds travel to Washington to their first game of the 2020-21 season.
And to get fans pumped up about the season's opening game, the team released a kickoff video on social media Thursday.
The video is all about moving forward with new tactics, young talent and veteran experience, and taking on a challenging schedule, all while keeping the team healthy amid the coronavirus pandemic. The video even alludes to recent social justice protests in Philadelphia and the team's commitment to equality.

Former Eagles running back and assistant coach Duce Staley is heavily featured in the video. Staley took over for head coach Doug Pederson as Pederson recovered from the coronavirus.
