PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Eagles 2020-2021 season has been uneasy to say the least. But fans got a taste of what could be a bright tail end of the season when Jalen Hurts took over quarterback duties from Carson Wentz.
Hurts led the Birds to a 24-21 win over the New Orleans Saints Sunday.
Wentz's future as QB is uncertain, with Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson announcing Monday that Hurts will start Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
And the future of Wetnz's merch is also up in the air.
Action News reporter Jamie Apody shared a photo of a Wentz jersey significantly marked down at a Philadelphia-area store.
Apody said the half-off jersey was located in the Rally House at the King of Prussia Mall.
Wentz has only been out for one game and while the Eagles won Sunday, it was by a slim margin.
It's unclear why the jersey was listed at half off, which could be due to slipping sales or could be a dig at the highly-scrutinized quarterback.
