Pay is based on experience, with the ability to move up in the company based on your commitment to excellence. No weekend work Paid Holidays after 90 days Career Path Overtime paid after 40 hours/wk Full time, year round This is not a mowing and blowing lawn maintenance job. We are looking for professional landscapers who have the ability to efficiently execute a variety of hardscape, softscape, irrigation, drainage, and water feature projects. Typical days begin at 7:00 a.m. and end between 4:00 & 5:00 p.m ALL LANDSCAPING APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A GOOD WORK ETHIC AND BE ABLE TO SHOW RESPECT TO FELLOW WORKERS AND CLIENTS. Our landscaping crew members must be able to take a landscape plan and implement properly with correct planting practices as per the NCLCA's mandated guide lines. DesignScapes of NC Landscaper's responsibilities: *Installation of landscape materials on the job site (such as trees, shrubbery, annuals, ground covers, perennials) as well as proper installation of natural stone patios, pavers, and drainage materials. *To be a landscaper with DesignScapes, you must be willing to learn our methods of handling and planting materials. *Our Landscaping Crew members must be willing provide our customer with the highest quality of service. *Must also be willing to take care of our equipment and tools and keep our trucks clean as well as our storage space. *All members of our landscaping crew must possess a valid Driver’s License and be insurable by company insurance carriers *At least 2 YEARS landscape and hardscape experience *Landscape applicants must have the ability to safely handle a truck & trailer combination/large bed dump trucks (non CDL) as well as demonstrate ability for safe and proper operation of basic landscaping equipment *Landscape applicants must be physically able to perform duties (shoveling, lifting objects 50-80 lbs) on a regular basis and enjoy working outdoors year round. *We expect our landscpaping crew to be a team players and possess the ability to work professionally with other employees and our customers *Landscape Crew members comply with all company policies, procedures and codes of conduct. *All Landscaping applicants must have good driving record and reliable transportation to and from work are requirements. *Be able to pass a criminal background check Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.50-18.00 per hour
