PHILADELPHIA — Packages being shipped by UPS in the Philadelphia area will be seeing delays just days before the Christmas holiday, the parcel service said Thursday.
According to UPS, Wednesday's Nor'easter has caused severe impacts to the company's regional hub in Philadelphia.
"As a result," UPS said on its website, "some shipments may experience unavoidable delays."
UPS said contingency plans are in place to get shipments to their final destinations despite the storm's impacts.
Anyone expecting a package from UPS can track the shipment status online here.
According to UPS, the company's service guarantee does not cover shipments affected by the storm's disruption of deliveries.
