Gardening/Housekeeping assistant

We are interested in hiring someone to help in the garden and house. The yard work involves weeding, spreading bark dust, pruning, moving the irrigation sprinkler and hoses, planting veggies and flowers and miscellaneous tasks as needed. House work is vacuuming and mopping floors etc. washing walls If you often do outdoor work, you won't find this job difficult. It is actually pleasurable. If you are not used to doing physical work, you would probably hate it. Seriously, it is not for wimps. And if it hurts to bend over.. you would despise it. I try and make it as pleasant as possible. For example, if you start a task in the sun and get hot.. let me know.. we will find a new task in the shade.. or perhaps just call it a day. If you arms and hands start to hurt when pruning the hedge...let me know.. we can break it up over several days. You could start anytime (assuming it stops raining) raking of leaves and twigs etc. When the weather warms, we need someone for 2 or 3 6 hr days a week. You can pick the days.. just not weekends. You can change days if you let us know ahead of time. BUT when the hot weather comes you need to be able to do the watering on the same day each week. This obviously does not offer enough hours to make enough to pay the rent but is appropriate for someone that is already doing ok but wants some extra cash and an excuse to get out of the house and dig in the dirt. If you need more hours, please don't apply. You need to be willing to start early in the day... 7 or 8. Earlier if desired when we get into the heat part of the season.
