Personnel Source is seeking someone who enjoys multitasking as this position requires one who can change hats as a Delivery Unloader/Service Tech. This person has an excellent driving record and great customer service skills. Deliveries will require careful loading and unloading of appliances into customer’s home. As a service tech some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Disassemble appliances to diagnose problems and make repairments as needed. • Test electrical circuits or components for proper functioning. • Repair worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts. • Talk to customers or refer to work order to establish the nature of appliance malfunctions. • Clean equipment, parts, or tools to repair or maintain them in good working order. • Reassemble equipment after repair. • Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance. • Maintain repair records. • Observe equipment in operation to detect potential problems. • Level machine or equipment. • Connect hoses to equipment or piping. • Instruct customers regarding operation and care of appliance and provide information such as emergency service numbers. • Install appliance such as refrigerators, washing machines, and stoves. • Inspect gas system or components to identify leaks or other potential hazards. Experience/Skills Required: • Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required. • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. • Must excellent customer service skills • Ability to problem solve and think outside the box • Excellent communication and ability to comprehend information provided by clients.
