Flooring Install Assistant Needed. -Full Time Monday-Friday 9-5 schedule -16$ to start, with quick increase if your a good fit for the team. First couple weeks will be cash. (tryout period) -Possible ride from your home to job sites if all works out (geography and route). However, be prepared to provide your own transportation to and from the job site. -Job Site locations vary weekly. Mostly in the Kalamazoo and Paw Paw area, sometimes out further. -We install several styles of hardwood and Luxury Vinyl Tile and that is mostly what we need help with. Possibly sometimes on the sanding and refinishing side, but mostly install right now. Tools are Provided. Some heavy lifting. -Prior experience laying flooring is great. Skills with hand tools and a good working knowledge of cutting tools, like chop-saws and table saws are much preferred. We can teach you a lot, but you better know how to at least swing a hammer and work a saw, if you catch my drift. -Friendly work atmosphere, but not slack. Kind, respectful, positive, and good attendance is what we need. We move with a purpose and we are looking for someone similar. If your not honest and trustworthy, or if you have substance abuse issues, this won't be a good fit. However, if your cool, positive and can keep up, you can move up the pay scale fairly well, and gain a useful skill at the same time.
