PHILADELPHIA — A university in Northeast Philadelphia closed Wednesday due to possible coronavirus exposure. Holy Family University announced its main campus in Northeast Philly closed Wednesday. Wednesday's classes shifted to all remote learning models. The school said faculty and staff should plan to work remotely. No reopening date has been set. The Newtown Campus, residence halls and the Tiger Café are still open, however. Temple University over the weekend announced its campus was closing due to more than 100 cases of coronavirus identified among its students. The Philadelphia Health Department Wednesday reported 235 more cases of the coronavirus in the city, with 53 percent either in the 10 to 19 or 20 to 29 age groups.
