General Laborer needed for Residential Custom Builder Local custom homebuilder looking to hire a general laborer to do various tasks across multiple job sites in the broader Albemarle County area. Indoor and Outdoor work in all seasons. Qualified applicants must be able to lift 50 - 100 pounds, climb ladders, be physically agile, and follow directions to complete assignments. Assigned tasks may include clean up, demolition, work with hand and digging tools, lift and move heavy materials and equipment etc. QUALIFIED APPLICANTS MUST: 1. Pass a Criminal Background Check 2. Possess a Driver’s License & Have a Clean Driving Record 4. Have Reliable Transportation 5. Provide 3 references (at least 2 must be former employers or co-workers) 6. Have an up-to-date smart phone for daily timecard entry 7. Be punctual and reliable 8. Have a good attitude and complete assigned tasks 9. Be professional & trustworthy 10. Follow all safety standards Preferred applicants will have some construction labor experience. Full Time preferred, but Part Time applicants will be considered. Our work week is Monday through Friday 7:30 – 4:00 Health, dental & 401k benefits following 90 day wait period. 80 hours annual Paid Time Off Hours after 90 days with the company.
