Looking to rehome due to owner health issues. Emmett is an almost 3-year-old beagle/basset hound mix. He is amazing with other dogs and makes a great playmate for another pup. He is perfect with kids...any age, he especially loves babies. We have never seen him with a cat, so unsure how he feels about them. He is house-trained. He enjoys long naps in his bed and tons of snuggles. He is a perfect companion for someone who works from home or is retired. He does okay out of a crate if the owner needs to run a quick errand or go out to eat, otherwise crating him would be a good idea since he does get a bit of separation anxiety, which is pretty typical for a beagle! Health-wise, Emmett is diagnosed with Epilepsy. His seizures are few and far between and are controlled without any medications currently. Other than that, the only other issue is that he gets a bit of dry skin...in the fall and winter!
