PHILADELPHIA — All School District of Philadelphia schools are closing to ensure staff safety as unrest is expected in the city.
The district said all school buildings are closed out of safety precautions as Philadelphia Police expect more unrest Tuesday following the police killing of Walter Wallace, 27, in West Philadelphia Monday.
Some district buildings, however, will remain open as they serve as Early Voting Centers, the district said.
The district headquarters will also remain open.
