I've played shows every weekend, and played shows where my band really didn't fit the rest of the lineup. My takeaway from that? Quality over quantity... Write amazing music so people look forward to seeing you, rather than the band and listeners get burned out. I'm more interested in spending time writing, practicing and recording.
