Looking to fill TWO positions with two amazing individuals. 1) One position is full time 730am until 2 pm, 5 days per week. 2) The second position is part time from approximately 730am until 1pm, 3-4 days per week. More hours can always be provided for anyone looking to make more money. Also, this is a position that can grow with you if you are interested in a future career in dog training. THE PAY: $22-25/per hour depending on experience, and partial smart-phone stipend. Company work car provided. Sick days accrued. Starting pay during the first 2 weeks of employee training is $20/per hour for people with no history of working w animals. Upon successful completion of employee training period, candidates will be offered the permanent position at $22-25 per hour. Pay is via payroll, bi-monthly. YOU MUST HAVE: -A positive attitude and a love for dogs. No bad energy please ;) - valid Driver's License and decent driving record as you will need to travel back/forth to clients' homes and transport pets in company car. - by physically able to walk and hike while managing dogs; - a smart phone to take photos with and correspond w the office; - live driving distance to the Hollywood - Brentwood area; - ability to multi-task and prioritize the well-being of the animals at all times; - good time management skills are a must. JOB DETAILS: - we love dogs :) First, we pick them up in the car, then we walk, hike or take them to the park for training and physical exercise. Also we sometimes take them to and from the vet and/or groomer; - we provide a work vehicle to drive; - sometimes we feed and medicate dogs for clients and head trainer; - training will be provided to the right individual; - morning hours to mid day hours are our main shift so please be a morning person :) ; - we liaise with our clients so good communication is a important and there is daily communication w the office; - be willing to get a little dirty! We walk in the great outdoors. Sometimes in fall and winter there is light rain and also we pick up poop and other pet messes. - this is a fun, light-hearted job although the work we do is really important to us!! Candidates with a good work history will be given priority.
