UPDATE: 2 Virginia Men Charged In Philly Convention Center Threat PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities in Philadelphia are investigating an apparent plot to attack the convention center, where the election vote count is currently underway, according to multiple reports. Action News reported that police got a tip that a group was driving from Virginia in a Hummer to stage the attack. The suspected vehicle was located and police found a weapon, the report said. The car had a sticker for conspiracy theory group QAnon, NBC10 reported. Two men were arrested in connection with the alleged plot, the outlet said. Their identities have not yet been released. Joe Biden continues to cut into Donald Trump's lead in Pennsylvania during the ongoing ballot count. Trump now has 3,285,048 votes to Biden's 3,262,575 as of 7 a.m. Friday, according to state data. That's a difference of about 22,400 votes. There are currently more than 163,000 mail-in ballots that still need to be counted as of 7 a.m., officials report. More than 58,000 of those ballots are in Philadelphia. On Thursday, dueling protests converged on the convention center. A "Count Every Vote" group was outside the building at 12th and Arch streets, as well as a group of President Donald Trump's supporters.
