The Resort at Pelican Hill Greenskeeper position summary: Responsible to maintain greens of the golf course and surrounding areas based on department standards. Job Duties: Maintain sand trap areas. Operate equipment in order to maintain the area (e.g., blower, weed-eater, watering equipment set-up). Mow and maintain greens, tees, roughs, and approaches. Hand water designated areas. Maintain and repair irrigation system (Greenskeeper II). Apply fertilizer, insecticide, fungicide appropriately (Greenskeeper II). Perform other duties as assigned or requested. Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations: Greenskeeper I: High school degree or equivalent Must be able to safely utilize hand tools and landscaping equipment. Must be able to lift, push, and carry heavy objects (see Physical Requirements) Greenskeeper II: The above, plus previous experience in golf maintenance preferred.
