PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia's vote count has been certified. On Monday, City Commissioners signed the certification of the 2020 general election results. Commissioners Al Schmidt, Lisa Deeley, and Omar Sabir Monday night certified the final vote tally after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court allowed about 8,300 Philadelphia ballots challenged by the Trump campaign to be counted. Libertarian candidate Jo Jorgensen got 4,854 votes, which accounts for 0.65 percent of the vote. As for write in votes, 2,067 ballots were cast, which makes up 0.28 percent of the vote. In total, 743,966 votes were cast in the presidential election. Overall, 749,317 ballots were counted in the 2020 election in Philadelphia. Of those votes, 374,373 ballots were cast by mail and 359,952 ballots were cast at polling places. You can see Philadelphia's full election results online here.
