PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney addresses members of the media Tuesday during the city's weekly coronavirus update from his home after being exposed to the virus. Kenney Tuesday said he was exposed to someone who tested positive for the virus. According to the mayor, he is not experiencing symptoms and plans to get tested soon he said. Kenney did not say when or where the exposure occurred and declined to say who the infected person was. This marks the second time Kenney quarantined in his home, after he was exposed to an infected person in September, leading him to stay home for two weeks. "Like the last time I mentioned, it's not to focus on myself, but to remind everyone that the virus is still here, and we must remain vigilant," he said. This time, Kenney is quarantining for 10 days, per the CDC's new newest guidelines. Kenney urged those who are exposed to someone who tested positive to "do the right thing and self-quarantine."
