EQUIPMENT OPERATOR open positions: 810 Thompson Avenue Bound Brook, NJ 08805 (1) Night shift ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Under general supervision an employee will operate a Komatsu 500 front end loader, CAT 980 front end loader, or another piece of machine of equivalent magnitude. Employee will be seated in the loader for extended periods of time, loading the plants and trucks along with maintaining safe stock piles and keeping the unpaved roads safe for passage by vehicle traffic. While loading material into trucks the loader operator will have to deal with customers and insure they remain in their trucks. When the plant is not running the employee will assist the plant operator with any required maintenance. Employee responsibilities include keeping their work area clean and hazard free. PLANT MAINTENANCE open positions: 810 Thompson Avenue Bound Brook, NJ 08805 (1) Day shift ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Under general Supervision employee will maintain and repair heavy equipment and recycle plants to maximize safe and productive operations. When the plant is not running the employee will diagnose, repair and install: power transmission components such as gear boxes, couplings, chains, belts, sprockets and other related components as well as pneumatic and hydraulics systems such as cylinders, hoses, pumps and valves. Other tasks include general welding, fabrication, or rebuilding components. Lastly, keeping work area clean, safe and hazard free. PLANT OPERATOR open positions: 1 Waterworks Road Old Bridge, NJ 08857 (2) Day shift 810 Thompson Avenue Bound Brook, NJ 08805 (1) Fay shift 340 Valley Road Hillsborough, NJ 08844 (1) Day shift ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Under general supervision an employee running the asphalt plant will be working at a computer console to mix the asphalt then ultimately load it into trucks; they also have to deal with customer inquires. When the plant is not running the employee will perform any required maintenance. Employee responsibilities include keeping their work area clean and hazard free. Approximately 50 % of overall working hours would be spent in each position. LABORER open position: 205 Pennsylvania Avenue Flemington, NJ 08822 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Although heavy lifting is not generally required frequent to constant shoveling is a major component of this position. Work is often performed on uneven footing, slippery surfaces and on catwalks/ladders. Much of the work is performed around large moving equipment and the laborer must be constantly aware of his surroundings. The laborer is also expected to do general maintenance and be able to operate small equipment such as skid steers or manlifts.
