OAK LAWN, IL — Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Advocate Trinity Hospital in Chicago and Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest received their first shipment of COVID-19 vaccines on Thursday, marking an important milestone in the fight against the pandemic. Clinicians working in emergency departments, intensive care units and other settings with COVID-19 patients have begun receiving vaccines at Advocate South Suburban. Team members at Advocate Christ were to begin vaccinating front line staff Thursday evening. Advocate Trinity will start Friday.
