Rehoming 2 year old French Bulldog

Description

Darwin is 2 years old as of February 14th. Due to being born right when COVID started, he was never socialized, so he's not good with other animals and doesn't know how to have a calm reaction to new people. He gets way too excited. He just wants love from people, but he goes about it all the wrong way by barking, jumping, and being hyper. He would make a great guard/alert dog even beings so small because he barks if somebody is at the door. Up-to-date on shots and has records. Darwin is AKC registered, microchipped, and neutered. We have the paperwork for his lineage, too. He is hyper and plays A LOT as he is still young. He should not go to a home seeking a calm, older dog or a home with other pets or small children. He is still very much a puppy and needs to release his energy. When he is not playing, he loves to cuddle and be held and pet. He is potty trained. He whines at our back door to let us know he needs to go out. He does have a small bladder and goes out frequently. A fenced-in backyard is necessary. He is crate-trained at night and if we ever leave the house (which is rare as we both work from home). He is not free. Asking $1500. We paid $3000 for him and then have paid all his vet expenses, shots, neutering, microchip, registration, and toys and food (which he will come with). Rehoming because we have 4 young children and Darwin has always been great with them up until recently. Our daughter loves to cuddle him and lay with him. But for some unknown reason, he's been trying to bite my two-year-old lately. Unprovoked. I refuse to have him in the house any longer and risk my children's safety.
