My name is Brandon, and I am primarily a bassist living in northeast Aurora and I’m looking to offer my services as either a fill-in bassist or rhythm guitarist to bands doing gigs in Metro Denver! I have been playing music in total for over 10 years and want to continue applying myself to be a great musician and an appreciated, (and in this case) temporary bandmate! I have amassed a collection of lots of fun gear through the years (some of which you can see in the pics), allowing for me to explore different genres as I see fit! I have a wide range of tunings I use in my own spare time and know them all well! With bass I can play fingerstyle, with a pick and minimal slapping. With guitar I can do fingerstyle and picking. I’d say I find myself most at home with the Hard Rock, Blues Rock, and various Metal genres. My biggest influences in music are Lacuna Coil, Deftones, CheVelle, Kylie Minogue, Royal Blood, Audioslave, Sting (and The Police), Eric Gales, Halestorm, and Kino. OTHER THINGS ABOUT ME: 1) Please know that I currently and FIRMLY have no desire to commit to another band outside of just gig fill-ins. 2) I’m very upfront about what I can/can’t do musically. Please feel free to ask about musical specifics and/or send setlists in advance! 3) I’m fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID. I did this for myself and for playing at venues that would require as such. 4) My preference for fill-ins is with the cover/tribute scene, but I’m game for fill-ins with original bands too! I’m willing to get into character for shows! 6) I’ve played shows ranging from 1 song to 40+ songs in length! 7) I have my own car and gigging gear, and I can help others move gear if need be! 8) I’m 150% drug and alcohol free! 9) I work at a university in the Denver area and have a very consistent work schedule and am readily able to meet for practices on weeknights. Weekends are also usually awesome for me. If I ever have any sort of prior commitment that may conflict with potential practice dates, I’m very good at communicating this to everyone. 10) I’m 27, if age matters to anyone reading this… 11) I’m very active on social media, and I’ll promote the hell out of whatever show is coming up! 12) I pride myself on being super reliable and a constant learner. I also very much value being on time to practice and shows!
