Friday Evening Meditation with Gregorian Chants

Every Friday Evening during Lent 6:30pm to 7:30pm Riverhead United Methodist Church 204 East Main St. Riverhead You have welcome to come and let the chants wash over you. You are welcome to come and leave at any point during the hour or to stay for the whole hour. It's very simple, we start at 6:30pm with a reading of the Psalm, then sit in silent meditation/prayer as the chants roll over the sanctuary and the altar blazing with candles; we conclude with a communal recitation of the Lord's Prayer and a benediction at 7:30pm. A time to reflect and refreshed. All welcome.
