Working modern country band and tribute act in need of a keyboard and/or multi instrumentalist ASAP. Pros only need apply. Good paying gigs on the books. Many more to come including high profile corporate gigs and festivals. Must be able to dedicate yourself to this band. Must be able to travel regionally on occasion. This is a long post so please read the whole thing if you are interested. Now let’s get down to the nitty gritty. A country feel is crucial for this gig. We may be able to use a keyboard player that is new to country as long as you are a quick study. You will need an authentic Hammond sound as well as piano and strings. It would be great if you could cover other instruments with synth patches too. If you are looking to join as a multi instrumentalist you MUST know country inside and out. We’ll be able to tell immediately. We have lead guitar covered. We’ve got a rock feel already. We need more twang. We need multiple stringed instruments played at different times during the show. Acoustic guitar, banjo or ganjo, mandolin, pedal steel, dobro, fiddle. 2 or more of these at minimum. You must be able to switch instruments on the fly, seamlessly, even in the middle of a song. Vocals are helpful but not required. Pro gear is essential. We all use wireless for instruments and in ear monitors. Thanks for reading.
