Meals On Wheels Needs Help! Meals On Wheels needs volunteers! We are currently in desperate need of drivers to deliver meals to seniors and home bound people. Deliveries take about 2 hours to do and you only need to commit to 1 day a week, even if it's only for a month! Routes are from 9:30-11:30 or 10:30-12:30. We have openings for everyday of the week right now. No deliveries on the weekends or holidays or on snow days when government buildiings are closed. We deliver extra meals to our families before the holidays etc., so they will have food. Meals on Wheels also has a huge waitlist of people that need help and meals delivered to them but we cannot take on these new people until we fill the deliveries for the current families. So we really need help! Deliveries are for Adams County, with a huge need for deliveries in Commerce City, so if you have time to volunteer or if you know of anyone in or close to Commerce City that wants to volunteer, email me. There is also a small monthly stipend offered to our volunteers for gas if they chose to take it.
