TCB Property Management, Inc. is a full service General Contractor and Property Management Company with job sites mainly located in Baltimore City. We are currently seeking Carpenters/ Skilled Laborers with approximately ten years of experience in the residential construction industry. This is a full time, permanent, year-round position. JOB DESCRIPTION This position reports directly to the Site Manager and, at times, to the Owner/General Manager. The Carpenter/ Skilled Laborer will complete tasks as assigned for our work on total home renovations, contractual service requests, rental property maintenance and other related work. Attention to detail and the ability to follow directions are absolutely essential to your success with the company. GENERAL JOB DUTIES Carpentry, flooring, cabinet installation, tile installation, doors, windows, trim. Exterior/ Interior painting and caulking, drywall installation and repair. Concrete work: small walk installation and repair; deck, porch and fence repair and installations Minor demo, trash removal, change locks, landscaping, cleaning, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, etc. Basic Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC repair a HUGE plus! Lead remediation experience/knowledge a plus. JOB REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will possess the following: Integrity, honesty and a strong work ethic, as evidenced by a positive employment history Attention to detail, reliability and a positive attitude, where quality workmanship is held to a high personal standard Minimum ten years home improvement, rental property maintenance and/or maintenance person experience required A reliable, insured vehicle, preferably a truck/van/utility vehicle, with a clean driving record and current driver’s license Emotional maturity, ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with superiors and colleagues, and find “solutions” - not “problems” - in everyday challenges BENEFITS Competitive WEEKLY pay Vehicle allowance Paid holidays, vacation and benefit compensation after introductory period Please respond via email with your resume and salary requirements.
