Papered black and tan American bloodhound needs a new home. He is a very sweet dog, loves people, especially kids (however, sturdy kids recommended. He can knock littles over pretty easily). He is housebroken and alerts when he needs to go outdoors. He responds to his name and will come on command or via whistle. He is a tried and true hunter. Bear, raccoon, etc. Absolutely no small animals. It will lead to heartbreak. He gets along well with other dogs but likes respectful buddies. He enjoys laying out in the sun, going on walks, and sleeping in laps. His yard is his to patrol and he will check it for security issues whenever possible. Sturdy or underground fencing is a must. He thinks he is a lap dog.
