I'm looking to start an acoustic project. Id like a second guitar player, bassist, percussionist, keys, mandolin? Cello? Violin or Viola? Any potential players, hopefully will have some singing ability. Harmonize, dammit. I write lots of stuff for slide guitar but I play standard guitar too and have tons of ideas that I want collaborators to work on with. I'm new to Spokane and don't know the local scene (is there one?) But the ultimate goal is of course to play live shows, whenever and wherever in the city that we can, get feet stomping and exchange some energy. So someone with a little networking savvy and good contacts for possible venues would be really cool too. Can people still get hyped up about local music? Can we get a record store employee to wear our t shirts, leading to shirt sales galore? Is there still support and love for local music? Id like to find out, and if the answer is no, then let's build a goddamn scene.
