Going to be homeless soon so I need to find a new home for my Green Cheek Conure. Meet Benji - He's almost 2 years old and not DNA sexed. He is hand-tamed and very friendly, although like with most green cheeks, he has times where he can be moody. * Benji is super smart and knows a lot of tricks like step up, shake, spin, kiss, hang upside down, recall and send back. * He's rather quiet although when he's been left alone for too long then he'll start to scream for attention - I've been trying to train that out of him and he will whistle when he wants your attention however if he feels he's been ignored for too long then he will resort to screaming. * He also doesn't like loud noises and will let out a loud squeak when you're vacuuming or anything of the sort. * He doesn't really play with toys and is the type of bird who would rather chill with you all day if given the chance. He does play with foraging toys and will chew up things like paper, cards, and cardboard. * Benji eats all kinds of fruits and veggies but especially loves sweet corn and pomegranates. He is also on a pellet diet. I will only rehome him to someone who will feed him a varied diet since that is what he's used to. He'll come with everything and will be $700 since he is tame and very friendly, trained, and vet checked. (price can be lowered for the right home but I do need all the money I can get right now) Reminder that birds are very high maintenance and difficult pets to properly keep as they are a complete lifestyle change. I would only prefer to rehome to someone who has kept birds before or is currently keeping birds or at least know what they're getting into. Thank you very much.
