The goal is to have youth return to their communities renewed with tools, information, and appreciation of their worth and power. Join Stella's Girls Incorporated and the Frederick County Commission for Women SheLeads Program for our 2nd Annual Youth Empowerment Summit at the beautiful campus of Hood College in the Rosenstock Hall bldg on April 30th, Saturday from 10:00 am-3:00 pm. This is a free event for all youth in grades 8th-12th. This event will include workforce development opportunities, self-defense instruction, mindfulness, health awareness, asset building, college panels, group reflections and activities, and more... We will have college admissions and financial aid officers ready to answer questions for parents that are interested at beginning of the summit and a college tour for our teens at the conclusion of the summit.
