Dance to an evening of LIVE Big Band Swing. DANCE to authentic BIG BAND SWING! Grab your costume, dancing shoes, and vax card and join the “Best Big Band in Denver,” for an exciting evening of live music and dancing on Saturday, October 30, at the Avalon Ballroom, 6185 Arapahoe in Boulder. Dance to the great Swing Era music of Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Stan Kenton, Gene Krupa, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Diane Schuur, Frank Sinatra, and more. Family friendly. Singles, beginners, all ages welcome. Proof of full vaccination required. If your second shot was more than 6 months ago, you'll need a booster. No exceptions. Masks optional. Costumes enthusiastically encouraged. Snacks provided. Bring your own wine or beer. FREE BEGINNER DANCE LESSONS at 7:00. Three sets of LIVE BIG BAND JAZZ from 8:00 to 11:00.
