Support the James F. Haefele Memorial Scholarship by attending a Sing-a-thon! After losing the beloved Jim Haefele to Covid in early 2020, we are thrilled to finally be able to bring together the community of people who love him. Due to Covid and scheduling complications, we are no longer able to host a choir concert this year, but plan to revisit that event in February 2023. Instead, we invite anyone who knew Jim Haefele to attend a Sing-a-thon on Saturday, April 30, at the High School East track. All funds raised will go toward the James F. Haefele Memorial Scholarship. At this event, we plan to: Sing together as a groupShowcase individual actsAuction off performance slotsAward this year's scholarships and honor past recipientsHear from Jim Haefele's familyMake a video memory book in Jim Haefele's honorRaffle off prizes Please note: If you previously purchased tickets or a membership for the postponed choir concert, a member of the Planning Committee will reach out to you with next steps. You will be able to get a refund, transfer your donation to this new event, or defer your gift to the 2023 choir event. This event will move indoors in the case of inclement weather. Proof of vaccination (or proof of negative Covid test within 48 hours) will be required for entry into the school should we need to use the rain plan.Food and non-alcoholic beverage will only be available to those who purchase the premium ticket. This is a family-friendly event - bring everyone you know!We will plan to host an after party on Saturday evening starting at 8pm. Location is currently TBD.
