My name is Evan and I'm from Saratoga County N.Y. I'm a 37 year old remodeling contractor and I've been in the business for 15 years. I have a great clientele in upstate New York where I was born and raised. I've just relocated to Delray Beach and I'm looking for work. In New York, I do all of the carpentry myself from the demo to the trim work and finish painting. I only sub out plumbing and major electrical if the job requires it. My work consists of full kitchen and bathroom remodels, framing, drywall hanging, taping, tile work (backsplashes, floors and tile showers), custom cabinetry, crown moulding installation, window, skylight and door installation and interior and exterior painting as well as dryfall spraying. Although I won't be able to do it here, in New York a large part of my business is finished basements which include framing walls to filling nail holes and everything in between. I'm meticulous and passionate about every job and I treat every customer's home as if it were my own. I was trained by my father who has recently retired but was in the business since the 1970's. He and my mother both live in Delray Beach now. I work a 40 hour week Monday - Friday, 9-5. When I start a job, I'm dedicated to it and I do not bounce around from job to job. If you hire me, I will be at your house every weekday until the completion of the project. I'm fully aware of the reputation that many contractors have and I try to seperate myself from the rest by simply showing up on time, doing what I say I will do and leaving you with the highest quality project. The great majority of my business is for repeat customers and the rest of my customers find me through word of mouth and from referrals from local designers at kitchen and bath showrooms. More recently, I've opened an instagram page @evanmakingthings which is now the only place I post pictures of my remodeling projects.
