Meet archaeologists from the New York State Museum and Hartgen Archaeological Associates and observe a real dig in action (and help out if you wish). Includes a demonstration of ground imaging radar and other archeological techniques and tools. Free hands-on activities exploring the historic grounds of the Ten Broeck Mansion, including a hidden feature map-making. Pre-registration is suggested. Event held rain or shine.
