Join Rio del Sol Kiwanis for the 2nd Annual Downtown Farmington Historical Walk on Saturday, April 30th. Beginning at Artifacts 302, costumed tour guides will lead guests on a journey back in time along Main Street to learn about how Farmington’s Downtown Historic Commercial District developed and changed, continuing to embrace both the new and the traditional. Actors will portray various Farmington notables along the way sharing their stories about the independent, adventurous, hard-working, resilient, community-minded people who built the town here where the three rivers come together in the shadow of older civilizations. The event includes the Bake Shoppe menu, Wines of the San Juan, and live music at Artifacts by Sallyanne Bachman and Sheldon Pickering as well as a small antique car show near Orchard Park. Tickets are $15 each; also on sale at Artifacts 302 and Howard’s Cleaners. Note: Tickets are non-refundable; please wear comfortable shoes.
