Join us for a two-day sale of the exotic plants known as African violets, and learn how to grow and maintain them in this free event. Hey, African violets are cool again.Three Dallas area African violet clubs come together for this special event featuring this classic plant.The annual Dallas Metro African Violet Sale is your opportunity to view and purchase rare and unusual African Violet show plants and other interesting members of the fascinating Gesneriad family. Hundreds of African violets, episcias, streptocarpus, primulinas, and other gesneriads will be on offer as well as growing supplies such as pots, fertilizer, soil mixes, wicks and other necessities to make your violets grow and bloom year after year. Plus, experienced members will be on hand to answer questions and give growing advice on these beautiful, flowering indoor plants. Get hands on experience on how to grow your plants at workshops held at 10am and 2pm each day in our Tropical Greenhouse. 9am-4pm or until sold out.
