Co-Ed Partner CrossFit Competition on Saturday, May 14th. The Ares Games is back! Who is ready to battle it out and become The next Ares fittest team?! This spring, grab your favorite workout partner and get ready to throw down in The Ares Games: 2 to Tango partner competition! 2 to Tango is an all day, high intensity adult partner CrossFit competition involving one male and one female competing in one exciting, adrenaline filled, day! This event will take place on Saturday, May 14th at CrossFit Elizabethtown located inside the Bluegrass Sportsplex. Whether you are planning on competing or coming to watch your favorite CrossFit athletes compete, we promise, you don’t want to miss this intense event! All workouts will be programmed to ensure that ALL level of athletes get to prove their own mettle. With an amazing House DJ and experienced competition team, we guarantee that this will be one of THE BEST CrossFit competition you’ve ever been to! We pride ourselves in providing an organized, fun, yet challenging event; which remains inclusive to all. After you are done competing, we can assure you that you will go home knowing you were part of a competition that was organized to give you the opportunity to highlight all of your strengths to be given the chance to be dubbed “The Ares Games Fittest!” There will be both an RX & Scaled division. Registration opens March 16th at 9pm •$150 per team •Early Registration $130 ends April 1st (Code: EarlyBird20) •Registration will close on May 1st (OR) when we reach 35 teams per division. We always aim for quality over quantity. We do expect each division to fill up quick, so register soon to claim your spot to one of THE BEST competition around! •FREE T-shirts for all registered and competing athletes. RX Team Winner •1st $500 •2nd $300 •3rd $150 +additional prizes offered by event sponsors Scaled Team Winner •1st $400 •2nd $200 •3rd $100 +additional prizes offered by event sponsors DAY OF THE EVENT •Athlete Check-in is from 7-8am. •Please bring an ID for Athlete Check-in. •Waivers are to be filled out upon check-in. •Athlete Meeting will be at 8:15am. •Event 1 kicks off at 9:30am. •There will be a live DJ adding to the electric atmosphere and viewing areas for any family & friends who want to come & watch you throw down! •CrossFit Elizabethtown is located inside Bluegrass Sportplex which is a 103,000 sqft facility therefore, there is plenty of room for you and your team to hang out. However, please feel free to bring tents and chairs if you wish to have a spot outside. •There is plenty of parking available at the Sportsplex and the building next to us. •We will have a warm-up area for your convenience. There will be equipment for you to use during your warm-up. We suggest if you have any specific equipment that you need to warm up with, please bring it (just incase it's not available at our box.) •No refunds or transfers available. If you sign-up for this event, please be advised that we will not be able to refund any monies collected. If you partner is unable to participate, you have until the day before the competition to substitute your partner. •We have tons of great vendors and food trucks coming. There’s also food and drinks available at the Sportsplex. •NO OUTSIDE alcohol allowed, however, alcohol is available for purchase at the Sportsplex. •WODs will be released weekly on our website, social media accounts, and emailed for those who signed up for our newsletter (@thearesgames) starting April 1st.
