Join us at our 5th Annual Health Conferences to gain awareness on maintaining and promoting well-being! On April 2nd, 2022, our organization, the Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS), will be hosting our fifth annual health conference entitled “Shatter the Stigma”. The conference aims to educate and encourage future providers to not only consider the well-being of their patients but also the well-being of themselves, thereby increasing the standard of patient care. Undoubtedly, the journey to becoming a healthcare professional is demanding in every aspect and as advocates of health, it is vital to care for ourselves in the same manner we expect our patients to. With presentations from established, well-rounded professionals, and interactive workshops, the conference’s main intention is to help students realize their immense potential, be aware of resources available to them, and provide insight into the pre-health career of their choice.
