The Austin Area Urban League invites you to join us on April 15, 2022 for a night of music featuring local Austin artist Chavon B. The Soul of the City series is a monthly concert designed to highlight local artists in the Austin metropolitan area. Serving drinks, light hors d'oeuvres, and one-of-a-kind music from underground artists, this night will be one to remember. About the Artist: Chavon B Chavon B, singer/songwriter/arranger, is one of the most well known vocal storms in Austin. Her soft soprano, amazing alto, and tremendous tenor make her the perfect combination of all of your favorite singers in one. She feels she is the ultimate performer and knows how to captivate an audience with her unique performance style, which is missing from a lot of live shows. When asked, she would describe her sound as a musical gumbo. “The roux would be gospel, of course. Add in a little Pop, Gospel, Neo-Soul, and serve it over smooth jazz…and boom you have Chavon."
