You're invited to World Of Medicine! Date: April 23rd, 2022 Time: 8am - 3pm Location: UCI Medical Education Building You may be wondering, what is the World of Medicine Day? Essentially, it is an event that brings the world of medicine and healthcare to you. The focus of this event is to immerse students in a day in the life of medical students and doctors, to spark interest in medicine, and to expose students to the World of Medicine. So, if you are currently considering becoming a physician and you want to learn more, this day is perfect for you. The day will include admissions preparation and information provided by our very own Dean of Admissions, and several hands-on workshops that will introduce you to various fields of medicine! Workshops will include suturing, knot tying, skin biopsy, intubation, and much more. You will also have the opportunity to meet and greet with current UCI medical students during lunch. Here is a breakdown of the event: What? UCI School of Medicine's World of Medicine Conference When? April 23rd, 8:00am - 3:00 pm Where? The UCI SOM campus, parking available in Lot 83 with any valid UCI permit or with purchase of day pass from parking kiosk Who? All UCI students! Includes physicians and medical students from multiple specialties of medicine. Why? To spark your interest in medicine!
