Join the CHWSD for the First Annual South Dakota Community Health Worker Conference and a CHR/Tribal Pre-Conference! The Community Health Worker Collaborative of South Dakota (CHWSD) is excited to host the First Annual South Dakota Community Health Worker Conference and a CHR/Tribal Pre-Conference! This conference is an opportunity for CHWs, CHRs, CHW allies, and CHW supporters to come together for a day of networking and education and to learn more about Community Health Worker (CHW) initiatives and workforce development in South Dakota. The Pre-Conference is for CHRs and Tribal Programs only and will include an introduction and discussion with Michelle Archuleta. The conference features two keynote speakers: Michelle Archuleta - Public Health Advisory and CHR Consultants, Indian Health Service (IHS) Headquarters Abdul Hafeedh Bin Abdullah - Executive Director, Quality Life Blueprint This conference is offered at no cost this year due to grant funding made available to the South Dakota Department of Health, Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion.
