You will learn a variety of techniques employed by artists as varied as Bob Ross and Van Gogh, all while drinking and having fun! What We're Painting:We're going to be painting a cute scene with a mother bear and her cub. Behind them is a sprawling Bob Ross - esque landscape. We will learn a variety of techniques in order to do this! You can follow along with the teacher as much as you want, but creative variations are always encouraged if you're feeling like adding your own unique touches! Schedule:2PM -2:15PM - Arrival, get situated, get drinks/etc. (you're welcome to arrive anytime after 1:45 if you would like additional time to get drinks/set up)2:15PM -3:15 - First segment of painting, majority of landscape finished. 3:15PM -3:30 - Take a break, or get personalized suggestions/direction from teacher. 3:30PM -4:30 - Second segment of painting, landscape finished, bears outlined/began. 4:30PM -4:45 - Take a break, or get personalized suggestions/direction from teacher. 4:45PM -5:45 - Final segment of painting, finishing bears, adding finishing touches. 5:45PM -6:00 - Optional group picture! Event officially ends. Important Event Details:Food/Drink: This is NOT a BYOB (Bring your Own Beverage). We do allow outside snacks, but you must purchase all drinks from the Taphouse (there will be a bar onsite). The price of this meetup does not include drinks, what it does include: Includes: Four hours of fun, stress free painting! Your canvas, which you obviously take home after! All the paint you need to make it beautiful! If you want to take home some squirts of paint in to-go containers to make edits/additions later, you are more than welcome!
