Affordable Housing Crisis in our Community The Tavern was the birthplace of the American Revolution and the US Marines. People come together over food and drinks and plot. They plot change. They sketch on napkins, they rally excitement, and amazing things are born. We, as restaurant, bar, tavern, brewery, and business owners, need to come together and plot some change. And what better way to do that than over food and drinks, just like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson did. Let’s come together on Monday, April 4, 2022 6pm at 12 Bones and plot the Affordable City path and discuss how we can do our part to help solve Asheville’s Affordable Housing Crisis. We need fresh approaches and action items that we can participate in, and tools we can create to help our employees be able to afford to live here. Let our resilient attitudes create a model we can put into action and then model for the country. Let’s plot.
