Description

Never had formal mountain biking instruction or need a refresher? This fundamental skills clinic is for you! Stöke School is in session! Join us at Carver Lake Park on Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21, for a weekend clinic (Friday evening + Saturday morning) designed to help you find confidence and joy on the bike. Women's MTB Skills 101 is for ALL riders who identify as women and have yet to get formal instruction—we're talking beginners and seasoned riders alike. We also recommend it for those who simply need a skills refresher. During our time together, you'll learn fundamental mountain biking skills ranging from body position to cornering from two BICP-certified coaches, Lisa Martens and Leigh Kramarczuk. You'll practice skills in the grass and, if weather permits, take it to the trail. Above all else, you'll learn how to ride SAFELY, so you can spend more time shredding your local singletrack! Space is limited to 12 riders—register today! DETAILS When: Friday evening, May 20, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. + Saturday morning, May 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Where: Carver Lake Park in Woodbury Cost: $175 Cancellation policy: If we need to cancel the clinic due to unforeseen circumstances (hello, May snowstorm!), you'll receive a full refund. For this inaugural event only: If you need to cancel for any reason, email us at [email protected], and we'll work with you to provide a refund or credit for a future Stöke MTB clinic. This is our thank you for helping us build the Sisterhood of Stöke! (Unfortunately, there is a $20 processing fee if cancellations occur within 7 days of the clinic.)
