Join Leadership Seminole Class 31 in our mission to support Kids House of Seminole County. There's even a chance to win $10,000! We represent Leadership Seminole Class 31, a group of community leaders in Seminole County and we are actively working on our annual class legacy project. This year, we are delighted to support Kids House of Seminole in reconstructing the Hester House to change the lives of child abuse victims in Seminole County, and we invite you to participate in a community event to help us reach our goal. Kids House serves as the single point of contact for child abuse investigations for Seminole County, Florida. Its mission is to prevent child abuse and aid child victims of abuse in a safe, child-friendly environment. Each year, approximately 1,500 Seminole County-based children visit their center for forensic interviewing and medical examinations, crisis intervention and advocacy, referral and information, mental health trauma therapy, and education and prevention services. The support Kids House provides to our community is critical at this time, and they need additional space to expand their mental health trauma therapy for our community's children. With the support of Leadership Seminole Class 31, we hope to raise over $150,000 to transform this property into meeting and training space to support the future of Seminole County.
