Proceeds from this event will go to the Henry Fleming Scholarship for Career & Technical Education. Mr. Henry Fleming is affectionately known as "The Father of Vocational Education" in Phenix City Schools. The Phenix City Advisory Council awards two Central High CTE students scholarships annually to pursue a post-secondary degree in the college/university of their choice. Students apply and finalists are interviewed by members of the council before selection of the annual winners is made.
