WAUWATOSA, WI — Wauwatosa is the No. 13 best place to live in Wisconsin, according to a 2022 study Niche released on Monday.
Wauwatosa was ranked for its public schools and quality of life for families, Niche said. The city got an "A+" in its overall grade.
Niche combed through 18,000 towns and 220 cities in its 2022 study, the company said. Data from the U.S. Census, FBI and the CDC alongside neighbor reviews were used to rank communities on crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities and local amenities.
The No. 13 place ranking is compared to 408 other cities and towns in the Badger State.

In Wisconsin, Whitefish Bay, Elm Grove and Kohler were ranked as the top three communities to live in.
