Here are the top 3 stories in Buffalo today: Erie County Clerk Michael P. Kearns has announced plans to create a new Public Transportation Task Force. In a letter to Kimberly Minkel, executive director of the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority, Kearns claimed to have received "numerous complaints" about public transportation services from residents of the county. The county clerk hopes the task force can rectify these concerns and plans to finalize initial membership by the end of the month. (Buffalo Rising)The annual Dyngus Day parade is set to return to Buffalo next month after taking a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The parade, which traditionally takes place on the day after Easter, is an ancient Polish tradition celebrating the end of Lenten restrictions and sacrifices. This year's parade will take place on Monday, Apr. 18, at 5:00 p.m. in the city's historic Polonia district.
