We currently have an opening for an experienced full time Community Maintenance Technician for a property in Tacoma, WA. A positive, can do attitude is a must! General Duties: *Grounds Keeping *Work Orders that include Basic Maintenance on units and appliances *Turnovers of units *Building and Common Area Maintenance *Being available on-call, on a rotating basis, for emergency calls *Working towards electrical technician license (O7B) Requirements: *Education/Experience: High School education or equivalent. *Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. *Training in some or all the following areas, a plus: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, refurbishing, cleaning, air conditioning, and appliance repair *Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, invoices, specification sheets, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals *Physical aspects of the job may require heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing, and carrying. *Excellent Time Management Skills *Responsible, Personable, Trustworthy and wants to be a Team Player!
