Press release from the Novato Unified School District: December 10, 2020 En español Hello K-5 VLA families, Welcome to our first newsletter for K-5 VLA. The weekly newsletter will be sent to you on Thursdays and will also be posted on the NUSD VLA website. The weekly updates will provide important information, a review of events and/or upcoming events. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Every K-5 VLA class has two administrators; the site administrator for your child school of attendance and a VLA administrator, Elizabeth Sesma-Olinyk ([email protected]). If you direct support for your child please send an email to the site administrator and Elizabeth Sesma-Olinyk. They will work together to support you and your child. REVIEW OF EVENTS Parent/Teacher conferences have come and gone. The teachers worked to provide a clear picture of your child's current academic progress. If there is any questions, concerns or supports needed please contact the teacher or site principal. UPCOMING EVENTS Next week, Dec. 14-18, 5th grade students have the option to participate in the California Healthy Kid Survey (CHKS). Permission slips were mailed to 5th grade families before the Thanksgiving break. If you would like your child to participate in the survey you must return the permission slip to the NUSD district office at 1014 7th Street before Friday, Dec.11.
