Description
ARLINGTON, MA — Three Arlington police officers were honored for life-saving actions at separate emergencies earlier this year.
Officers Mike Hogan, Scott Urquhart and Thomas Guanci were awarded meritorious service ribbons for the Spy Pond ice rescues and the Chestnut Manor fire.
On Jan. 22, a two-alarm fire broke out at the Chestnut Manor senior housing complex, killing one person and displacing dozens more. A day later, emergency crews pulled three people from Spy Pond who had fallen through the ice.
"Thank you all for a job well done!" the Arlington Police Department said in a statement.
